Paxton 405-321 Switch 2 Access Control Unit

The Paxton Switch2 is a single door ACU. This access control unit is mounted inside the building on the secure side of the door which makes it suitable for applications which require high security, if the reader is interfered with the door will remain secure. This clever security product stores the access permissions of the system user.

The Switch2 ACU can be used with TOUCHLOCK, CARDLOCK or PROXIMITY readers. Switch2 units can be fitted to many doors on a site, all using the same tokens. One 405-321 control unit can accept two readers allowing read in and read out access control. This non PC Based Access Control System is perfect for applications where reports on users activities are not required.

If you are choosing a access standalone system but in the future may want to look at upgrading to a PC based system, Switch2 is the obvious choice. The control unit would be the only product that would need to be replaced. Readers and other hardware are suitable for use with both systems.
