Apollo AlarmSense Heat Detector Two Wire 55000-190 A1R
Apollo AlarmSense Heat Detector A1R 55000-190
The Apollo Alarmsense heat sensor works by using a pair of matched thermistors to detect heat. One thermistor is sealed the other thermistor is subject to the surrounding temperature. In regular conditions, the two thermistors will monitor very similar temperatures, but if a fire develops the temperature registered by the exposed thermistor will rapidly increase which will result in the detector changing to an alarm state because of an imbalance in temperature detected by the thermistors
There are two heat sensors in the Apollo AlarmSense series produced to cope with a large variety of operating conditions.
Apollo Alarmsense Heat Detector (A1R) Rate-of-rise sensor has an upper limit which is fixed as well as measuring increase in the temperature rate, and a Static Heat Detector (CS) which will only go into an alarm state once a fixed temperature has been recorded.
This Apollo detector has been produced to work in conjunction with compatible Alarmsense control systems. This clever fire safety sensor belongs to a range of conventional detection products that can be connected using two wires
